New Women’s Rain Boots

This spring season, women’s rain boots are all about new color choices , fun patterns, and new silhouettes. Some of my new favorite women’s rain boots are by Bogs. The one I am featuring today is the Bogs Yellow Elyse. I like the soft yellow cream color and the gray laces and sole compliment the yellow nicely. They have a nice height to them and will work well for spring and fall.

Wide Calf Boots

I would say that I am a female of “average size.” Not necessarily the smallest girl, but I wouldn’t say large. Boots are one of my favorite items for the Fall and Winter seasons, so I am always looking and buying them. Like most women, when looking for tall boots, I tend to run into the issue of my calves not fitting properly. I have experienced this problem more so with rain boots specifically. Luckily, some companies have made wider rain boots for what they call an “Athletic Sized Calf.” Now I am not very athletic, so I think it is just a nice way of saying, “We don’t know what else to call your ’situation’ so we are calling it ‘Athletic sized.” I appreciate the effort, but lets just call it what it is, Big Calves.
